12 Different Ways to Tie a Scarf

by Brittany Jepsen of The House That Lars Built

As we gear up for colder weather, our scarf collections inevitably come out of our closets to take a front and center role in our everyday fashions. I don’t know about you, but I find that after awhile I get really lazy and end up tying my scarf in the same way every day. I went on a hunt to see if I could find some new ways to tie a scarf and I found some really fun ideas that you can add to your scarf-tying repertoire. Here is a collection of some of my favorite ideas.

1.     As a bandana.
2.     As a knotted loop.
3.     As a twisty loop.
4.     As a rolled scarf.
5.     With a brooch.
6.     As a funky knot.
7.     As a criss-crossed scarf
8.     As a hairband.
9.     The half bow.
10.  As a bow in your hair.
11.  As a skirt.
12.  As a turban.
